AI Silicon Architect

About this role

MatX is seeking a AI Silicon Architect to join their AI Hardware Architecture & Co-Design team. This role involves cutting-edge work in AI acceleration and semiconductor technologies. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in their area of specialization and a passion for pushing the boundaries of hardware and software co-design.

What you’ll do

• Model and analyze AI workloads to guide accelerator and system architecture
• Evaluate trade-offs across compute, memory hierarchy and interconnect
• Collaborate across silicon, systems and software teams on hardware/software co-design

Requirements

• Deep knowledge of computer architecture and AI/ML workload characteristics
• Experience with performance modeling, simulation or system-level hardware design
• Proficiency in C++ and/or Python for modeling and analysis
