This Privacy Policy explains how ChipTalent.io (“ChipTalent”, “we”, “us”) handles information when you browse job listings or post a job on this website.

1. Candidate browsing

You can search and view every job listing without creating an account. We do not ask candidates for a name, email address, résumé or any other personal profile information in order to browse the job board.

2. No retention of application or ATS data

ChipTalent.io does not host application forms. When you click “Apply”, you are sent directly to the employer’s official careers page or applicant tracking system (ATS) in a new browser tab. Any information you submit there is collected and governed by that employer and its ATS provider, not by us. We do not receive, store or retain résumés, application answers or other candidate data from those systems.

3. Information we collect

• Technical data: like most websites, our hosting infrastructure records standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type, pages requested and timestamps) to operate, secure and troubleshoot the service.
• Employer listing data: when an employer posts a job, we store the listing details they submit (company name, job title, category, location, description, salary range and application link) and publish them on the job board.
• Payment data: employer payments are processed by Stripe. Card details are entered on Stripe’s secure checkout page and are never sent to or stored on our servers. We retain only a payment session reference to link the payment to the published listing.

4. Cookies

We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. The site may use strictly necessary cookies or similar browser storage required for basic functionality and security. Stripe may set its own cookies on its checkout pages to process payments and prevent fraud, as described in Stripe’s privacy policy. You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings.

5. How we use information

We use the information described above only to operate the job board, publish and manage paid listings, process payments, maintain security and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell personal information.

6. Third-party websites

Job listings link to employer websites and applicant tracking systems that we do not control. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, which we encourage you to review before applying.

7. Data retention and security

Job listings are kept for their active posting period and may be retained afterwards for record-keeping. Server logs are kept only as long as needed for operations and security. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information we hold.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page, and the “Last updated” date above will be revised.
